California Dreaming

Well, actually... California Reality ...now that the citizens there have approved 10 billion dollars for high-speed train service from San Francisco to southern California. The system will have over 800 miles of track connecting all the major metropolitan areas of the state. It looks to become America's first, truly state-of-the-art high-speed system. Trains will run in the 220+ mph range. LA to San Francisco in 2 and a half hours. Downtown to downtown.

New Mexico Dreaming:

A high-speed rail network starting in El Paso, Texas, going through Albuquerque, New Mexico and ending in Denver, Colorado.

I think the Rail Runner Express, currently stretching from Belen to Santa Fe, is just the beginning of this high-speed dream, that will continue to evolve and someday become reality.

Just like it is in California.

Dream on.
